About

I was born and grew up in Montana. Nestled in the rocky mountains I learned to love the outdoors and grew up doing things like hiking, camping and such with my family. We also did canoeing and white water rafting. When we weren’t doing that, there was always school work to be done. I read a lot, and was in Boy Scouts.

When the time came to look for colleges, I looked to the east, applying to a couple Ivies and a bevy of technical schools. After getting back the letters of acceptence, I had to knuckle down on picking a particular school. I eventually decided on Case Western Reserve University, partly because I had family in the Cleveland area (though they moved to Atlanta not long after I arrived) and partly because Cleveland seemed a better choice than the rural New York setting of Cornell.

College was a lot of fun, I met a lot of really cool people and did a lot of growing up. Oh yeah, there was like studying and stuff too. All of that was greatly facilitated by my decision to join Beta Nu of Theta Chi. So after four short years, I graduated with a B.S. in Computer Science. Now I’m still in the Cleveland area, working for the small but growing software company Noteworthy Medical Systems, Inc. writing a computerized patient record system in Java.
